Al Islami Foods’ Strategy Advisor appointed ME Ambassador and Advisory for Europe’s elite CMO Conference
DUBAI: UAE based Al Islami Foods’ Strategy Advisor Mr. Alex Andarakis has been appointed as the Middle East Ambassador an Advisory Board Director for the European Chief Marketing Officer Conference, Europe’s leading platform for marketing chiefs to exchange insights thus turning it into a ‘DAVOS’ for marketing gurus.
The European Chief Marketing Officer Conference (CMO), established in 2008 by Mr. Benno Marbach, former Global Marketing Director of Samsung Electronics and Founder of the Swiss Association of MBA’s (SAMBA), is the yearly CMO conference which attracts Chief Marketing Officers and elite marketing professionals from around the world. This year’s conference has been scheduled in Switzerland in September 2010.
Joining Alex on the Advisory Board are Mr David Aaker (USA), Mr Jean-Claude Larreche (France), Mr Martin Roll (Denmark). David Aaker is one of the most published authors of marketing books and professor Emeritius at the Haas School of Business, Berkeley. Jean Claude Larreche, board member of INSEAD and founder of the several INSEAD Executive Programmes. Martin Roll is CEO of Venture Republic, and winner of the Best Business Book of 2006.
Mr. Alex Andarakis (Dubai, UAE), currently the Strategy Advisor for Al Islami Foods, is a leading marketing and leadership executive having played a dominant role in building the Lipton brand worldwide, achieving powerful growth and international expansion with Aujan Industries, and restructuring the marketing and sales thrusts across the Emaar Group. He is also a well known speaker on Leadership within the region, as well as a guest columnist in renowned business magazines across the region.
Andarakis graduated from the University of New South Wales as well as being an alumni from the Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
