MISC Berhad will upgrade its Halal Express Service linking the Far
East, Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East,
effective later this month. The Malaysia-based carrier will expand the weekly service with a second loop to provide direct connections to and from Japan.
Kuala Lumpur: MISC Bhd will soon
launch the Halal Express Service-Loop 2 that directly connects Far East
ports to India and the Middle East region. The service, to commence on Sept 24, 2009 from Japan, would meet
the growing demand for carriage of Halal produce and products, it said
in a statement on Saturday.
