Iran in interaction with Muslim states to develop Halal tourism

AhlulBayt News Agency – Iran’s Deputy Head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Morteza Rahmani Movahhed said on Monday that among goals of the organization is interaction with neighboring countries and Muslim states of the world in order to develop Halal tourism.

He said that security and tranquility in Iran is a prominent index among other Islamic countries, which caused expansion of Halal tourism and in this concern planning have been made for Muslim states’ markets.

Movahhed said that tourism is not a political subject, but a popular interaction in an international level.

He added that in the past two years, we witnessed a growth of 12 percent in number of the incoming foreign tourists.
