The Malaysian Halal Conference and Exhibition 2009 (MHCE 2009) is being jointly organized Khaaz International Sdn Bhd, Malaysia and the Malay Traders and Industrialists Association of Malaysia (PERDASAMA) in collaboration with GITC Secretariat Sdn Bhd and will be coordinated by the Islamic Tourism Centre, Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia.

The 2nd National Halal Conference and the International Islamic Tourism and Halal Conference
The 2nd National Halal Conference which will incorporate the International Islamic Tourism and Halal Conference will be held for two days from 8 to 9 December at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre in Petaling Jaya.
This Conference is the most important platform for experts and traders from every level of the Halal value chain in Malaysia and Overseas to discuss, network and form business alliances.
This 2 days Conference will cover a wide range of topics presented by more than 15 speakers from various Organisations and Government Agencies which will enable delegates to explore the areas of business relations in the Halal Industry and also on Islamic Tourism.

Participation Fee
The participation fee for Malaysian participants is only RM 780 per person, which will include attendance to the two days conference, lunches, coffee, conference notes and a complimentary invitation to the GALA DINNER. This fee is also claimable under the SBL-HRDF Scheme for those who qualify.

HALAL MALAYSIA 2009: International Exhibition on Halal Products, Infrastructure and Services including Islamic Tourism
Halal Malaysia 2009 is an International Exhibition on Halal products, infrastructure and services and is being held alongside with the Halal Conference and all other sub-events held in conjunction with the International Islamic Tourism and Halal Week.
Halal Malaysia 2009 is an International Exhibition on Halal products, infrastructure and services. This exhibition will focus more on the Halal service sector which will include Halal infrastructure & facilities, logistics, catering, abattoir, standards & certification, fashion, Islamic finance and investments and Islamic Tourism. It will also include Halal food and non-food products. More than 100 exhibitors are expected to display their products and services during this three days event.
Halal Malaysia 2009 will promote expansion of business alliances in order to pave into the massive untapped potential in the domestic and global halal industry. This exhibition will create a platform for Malaysian and Overseas Companies and Entrepreneurs to take the Halal Industry up to the next level.

Malaysian Halal Excellence Awards2009
The inaugural Malaysian Halal Excellence Awards 2009 has been introduced to recognize key Halal industry players and honour their achievements in the Malaysian Halal Industry. This first-of-its-kind awards ceremony will announce and honour winners across a range of categories during a GALA DINNER organized in conjunction with the International Islamic Tourism and Halal Week (IISTHAL 2009) on 8 December 2009.
