UAE: Al Bayader moving regional headquarters to Dubai

Industrial sector is very important to UAE economy and expected to witness further growth

Dubai: To strengthen their roots in the region and worldwide, food packaging company Al Bayader is bringing their headquarters back to Dubai, CEO Nidal Haddad said.

“We are back to set up our headquarter in Dubai to be our main gate for expansion not only in the region but worldwide,” Haddad told Gulf News in an interview.

Locating in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers free zone area, Al Bayader will be operating their business in the region and to several European and African countries. The company was previously headquartered in Sharjah.

“Dubai has all the industrial, logistic and trade facilities that make our business easier and more successful. This emirate will allow our business an easy access to other international markets that we are looking for — in Europe, Africa, US, UK and Canada,” he said.

While 35 per cent of Al Bayader’s production goes to the local market, the rest of the company’s production is exported to 35 countries.

Al Bayader is a food packing solutions provider and its international consumer brand Fun has a 90 per cent share in the UAE, Qatar and Oman hypermarket sector.

JebelAliPort-1Al Bayader has over 1,200 product categories with fully integrated manufacturing and logistics facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone.

The company has boosted a 10-15 per cent average annual growth since inception with over 1,000 consumers in 35 countries.

The organisation has 285 partners and manufactures and 12 efficient and state-of-the-art logistics facilities across four countries.

The Jebel Ali factory produces 100,000 cartons of clear plastic containers and cups every month, with each carton containing 1,000 pieces,

Made in the UAE

Highlighting to the potential of the UAE industries, Haddad remarked that the industrial sector across the UAE witnessing a remarkable growth and expected to increase further with the current government support and upcoming legislation to this sector.

“The manufacturing sector is extremely important to the UAE economy and Al Bayader is glad to contribute to the ‘Made in the UAE’,” he said.

“With a company history that is deeply rooted in the UAE, Al Bayader International continues to contribute to the growth of the nation’s manufacturing sector as well as added to the fast-growing number of ‘Made in the UAE’ products with the launch of a new production line at its HACCP [Hazard analysis and critical control points] certified facility.”

Haddad said that the driving force behind the company continued investments is its commitment of adding value to the market through innovation and creativity.
