DUBAI – K&N’s Foods (Private) Limited, a leading name in poultry and meat products in Pakistan, on Tuesday launched its products in Dubai at a function held on Pakistan’s Independence Day.

The country’s leading brand in frozen meat plans to make inroads in potential Gulf market by launching its products in Dubai to ensure significant business share in food segment.

K&N’s Foods, which has about 70 per cent market share in Pakistan, marketed its poultry and Halal meat products through Kibsons International, which has evolved an aggressive strategy to launch the Pakistani brand in the UAE within the next six months.

“K&N’s Foods products will soon available in all the major supermarkets, hypermarkets and grocery stores across the UAE following its official launch in Dubai today,” Jamal Hussain, managing director of Kibsons International, told Khaleej Times at the launch event on Tuesday.

Tariq Iqbal Soomro, consul-general of Pakistan, who was the chief guest, said the premium Pakistani brand is launched on the special occasion. He expressed the hope the brand will find its place in tough competitive market of Dubai.

Hussain said K&N’s products will initially be available at Union Cooperatives, Lulu, Spinneys, Hyperpanda and Safeer markets in Dubai. “We are in talks with other leading names including Carrefour and Al Maya to market K&N’s products across the UAE,” he said.

Kibsons International is a fresh produce importer and distributor in the UAE.
