Tan Sri Iyad Ameen Madani visited Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCM)’s Pharmaceuticals Division facility in Bangi recently to see firsthand the production of halal pharmaceutical products.
A pioneer in the production of halal-certified pharmaceutical products, CCM forefronts the local Halal pharmaceutical industry and has been actively building strong market presence worldwide.
The Company was the first in Malaysia to secure Jakim’s Halal certification for its health supplements and healthcare products in 1999 and was recently awarded the Halal Excellence Award 2015 by the Halal Industry Development Corporation (HDC).
