The Study for the first time will look at the state of business activity addressing American Muslim needs in the top ten States estimated by DinarStandard to represent 80% of the American Muslim population. The study will be looking at the varying Muslim demographic and market dynamic profiles of these ten states. New Jersey is identified as having the largest Muslim segment among the top 10 States as a percentage of the total state population, at 1.4 %. The study will also look at the largest group of Muslims in a State, i.e. California, with an estimated 17.3 % of the total Muslim population in America. Other states being highlighted include New York, where about 14.9 % of American Muslims make up 1.2 % of total population and Illinois where about 8.4 % of American Muslims make up 1 % of the total population.
Besides the landscape of key players serving this diverse and fragmented market, the study will also show consumer perception of key brands on US ‘Halal’ (allowable for Muslims) food, finance, and select other sectors.
