Saudi Arabia: The Hotel Show

Jeddah , Saudi Arabia – July 1, 2012:

With the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s travel and tourism industry set to reach US$14.9trillion in 2012 according to the Saudi Council for Tourism & Antiquities (SCTA), and an ambitious government programme driving growth in the sector, it has never been more important for businesses in the food and hospitality industry to attend The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia. Seen as the gateway through which to reach the vast business opportunities in the Kingdom, the influential trade-only exhibition takes place at the Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events from 17th – 19th November 2012, and is held under the patronage of HRH Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Chairman of the SCTA.

According to international industry consultant Business Monitor International, Saudi Arabia is expected to welcome 15.8million tourists by 2014, with some 381,000 new hotel rooms and a 63 percent increase in room stock against 2010 inventories forecast for completion by 2015. The country has emerged as one of the most captivating markets for foreign direct investment in the food, hotel and hospitality industries.

Keeping pace with the demands of the country’s burgeoning hospitality market, The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia has focused its offering to provide an unmatched sourcing platform for buyers and sellers of hospitality supplies and services.

More than 100 companies from 24 countries will be participating this year, with 10 country pavilions represented at the show, including Italy, Greece, France and Malaysia.

Europe’s leading interiors fit out company Nowy Styl Group and Stylis Hotel Solutions, which together have formed a partnership manufacturing customized modular furniture systems for hotels, are also exhibiting in Jeddah.
