UAE: Representatives of the Dubai Int’l Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Village visit INCEIF

Representatives of the Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) and Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) –  the world’s only Free Zone area dedicated to Human Resource Management and learning excellence – visited INCEIF today to have a first-hand look of its campus facilities.

dubai_diac-300x225INCEIF President & CEO Mr Daud Vicary Abdullah met the officials, Education Cluster Managing Director Ayoub Kazim and Business Development Director Mrs Leigh Ann Khosla and briefed them on its mission and future plans. INCEIF has a strong pool of alumni who are currently working in various financial institutions in Dubai. The university ’s most recent engagement in Dubai was in November last year where it participated in the Global Islamic Economy Summit 2013. It also jointly organised with Kuwait Finance House Research Ltd a panel discussion on  `Islamic Finance – What’s Next’ which was held at the DIFC.

Established in 2003 as part of TECOM Investments, both DIAC and DKV aim to develop the region’s talent pool and establish United Arab Emirates as a knowledge-based economy. The establishment of the unique hub seeks to offer the best selection of Human Resource Management, Consultancy, Training and Personal Development programmes on a 1km long campus in the heart of Dubai. It has already attracted over 450 business partners to set up shop including Towers Watson, Hays, Hewitt and Innovative HR Solutions.
