Importance of Consuming Religiously Processed Meat During the Month of Ramadhan.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim, Islamic calendar, a religious annual observance and month of fasting that is considered to be one of the Five Pillars of Islam. During the month of Ramadan, adult Muslims fast from dusk until dawn, unless they are ill, pregnant, or diabetic, breastfeeding, or traveling. This time spent fasting is meant to be used for prayer, charity, spirituality, and for purifying the mind and body, one way of ensuring that one purifies the body is to consume true halal food and drink.
This entails consuming religious processed meat and chicken and to ensure one checks what they are buying by asking how they meat and chicken processed (stunned or non stunned).
A reminder to Brothers/Sisters how to be protected under the consumer protection.
Halal consumers are only legally protected under the law if they ask for non stun meat when shopping for halal meat.
The Trade Descriptions Act 1968 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which prevents manufacturers, retailers or service industry providers from misleading consumers as to what they are spending their money on. This law empowers the judiciary to punish companies or individuals who make false claims about the products or services that they sell.
Always insisted on non stun halal products from your supplier.
