A halal butcher’s is to be installed into an Asda branch in High Wycombe as part of a £1.7 million investment.
The Haji Baba meat counter, which has recently been rolled out to other Asda stores, will offer customers a range of quality meats including lamb chops, chicken breasts and joints. It is part of the retailer’s plans to offer an increased range of World Foods.
“This is an exciting time for our store to go through a complete transformation this year,” said Arrash Mahdavi, general store manager at Asda High Wycombe.
“We’re looking forward to refreshing some of our existing departments and bringing a new and exciting feel to the store with new services and product lines. I’m sure customers will be impressed by our new layout.”
In addition to the halal butcher counter, a new optician will also be incorporated into the renovation.
“The new Haji Baba counter, opticians and extensive World Foods range, will make the big shop super-simple and convenient for all of our customers,” added Mahdavi. “Our store colleagues will be working hard throughout the remodel to ensure there is as little disruption as possible to customers, while Asda High Wycombe receives its makeover.”
