This Monday Alimentaria had started, one of the biggest food tradeshow that aims to surpass attendance records this 2018.
One of the novelties of Alimentaria is the expansion of the sample and activities related to the halal industry, called Expo Halal Alimentaria.
The area, located in Hall 3, will be institutional representatives and international companies from different countries such as Morocco, Libya or Thailand along with other Spanish, in order to promote the products and services that are included in this growing sector.
The exhibition has been inaugurated institutionally by Mrs. Rakiya Eddarhem, Secretary of State for industry, investments and digital economy of Morocco, Mr. Jose? Luis Bonet, President of the Organizing Committee of Alimentaria and Mr. Anwar El Mezwaghi, President of Expo Halal Food.
According to the President of Halal Food Expo, Mr. Anwar El Mezwaghi: “Expo Halal Alimentaria 2018 is a unique opportunity to give visibility to this sector in constant growth, positioning halal products and services in the market.”
“The halal industry is a reality that through Expo Halal alimentary demonstrates the importance of participating in these tradeshows in order to demonstrate the quality and diversity of products, which make them suitable for all types of public and attractive for export “, exposes El Mezwaghi.
Halal food refers to those products adapted for Muslims, a potential market that expects to reach 20100 trillion dollars in 2019, which represents 12% of the international global market.
Apart the exhibition, networking activities and conferences about the future of this growing sector with keynote speakers from arabic countries are scheduled.
