THAILAND HALAL ASSEMBLY 2024 WRAPS UP WITH OUTSTANDING SUCCESS AND CHERISHED MEMORIES
Bangkok, Media Release by Jasmin Manee, Thailand Halal Assembly 2024, 21 Dec 2024: The Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University (HSC-CU), in collaboration with the
Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT), organized the Thailand Halal Assembly 2024 (THA2024). THA2024 is considered a large umbrella event encompassing three key components: the 11th IHSATEC (International Halal Science and Technology Conference), the 17th HASIB (Halal Science, Industry, and Business), and the Halal Route Workshop. Additionally, there are exhibition zones, including the HSC Innovation Zone, Halal SMEs Zone, and Halal Health Science Innovation Projects Zone. The event is scheduled for December 19–20, 2024, at the Al Meroz Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The overarching theme of the conference is ” Toward Halal Trust Through Digital Technology 2AIs.”
The conference is divided into two parallel meetings, each focusing on different aspects of the field.:

- Session 3: Oral Presentation (OP) Science, Technology, and Innovation

- session 6 : Oral Presentation (OP) Science, Technology, and Innovation
- session 7: Fostering Collaboration and Establishing Academic Networks between Thailand and GCC Countries: Exploring Partnerships and Technology Transfer Opportunities
- Halal Route Workshop
- Halal Route: Unlocking the Future of Halal Thai Tourism
- Interactive Workshop of the Halal Route Application
The academic session is jointly organized by HSC-CU in collaboration with the Research Synergy Foundation (RSF) and other esteemed organizations. A total of 36 academic works were presented at the international conference, including 20 oral presentations (onsite 11, virtual 9) and 16 poster presentations. Over 985 attendees participated in the on-site conference, and at least 7,613 joined online from more than 34 countries, including Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, Australia, India, Oman, China, Kuwait, Japan, Taiwan, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, United State, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bahrain, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Bangladesh, Laos, Nigeria, Germany, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Kyrgyz Republic, Maldives, Brunei, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Qatar, UAE, Switzerland, and Thailand.
Now that we have reached the conclusion of the Thailand Halal Assembly 2024, on behalf of the chairman of this event, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the honorable speakers, chairpersons, and presenters of this conference for their excellent presentations and for engaging in such fruitful, constructive, and open exchanges over the past two days.
I also wish to thank all participants for your involvement in the program. I hope the conference has provided you with valuable information and knowledge that can be applied to halal matters and in your daily life.
