LAUNCHING CEREMONY OF MALAYSIA SHOWCASE AT THE 8TH OIC HALAL EXPO IN ISTANBUL CONGRESS CENTRE, TURKEY
ISTANBUL: This year’s launching ceremony marking the start of the event held physically and live-streamed globally via Malaysia Showcase virtual platform (running 25.11.21-15.12.21) on 25th of November 2021. The launching ceremony was officiated by H.E Sazali Mustafa Kamal, Malaysia Ambassador in Turkey (photo). In celebrating the launching ceremony, there were signing of form board and ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the Malaysia Showcase Pavilion.
Stated by H.E Sazali Mustafa Kamal, “The halal industry in the state is constantly developing, and more organizations are hopping on board to take advantage of the lucrative halal market. By taking advantage of opportunities and overcoming problems imposed by globalisation, the halal economy can become a significant economic booster for the state.”
Ms Rosmizah Mat Jusoh, MATRADE’s Trade Commissioner in Istanbul, stated that this Malaysia Showcase able to strengthen the widespread reach of connectivity in order to attract strong export stakeholders to the Malaysian Showcase in Istanbul, Turkey, particularly leaders in the Halal industry, businessmen, investors, and international corporate figures.
Mr Aizudinnur Zakaria, organising chairman of the Malaysia Showcase, stated that as a corporate organisation, it is looking forward to forming new business partnerships and strengthening current ones at the showcase.
“By participating in the 8th OIC Halal Expo 2020, Malaysia Showcase fixates on the best platform for accessing Halal global markets and improving our business growth,” he stated today at the launching ceremony.
The 8th edition of OIC Halal Expo 2021 is from the 25th to 28th of November 2021 in Istanbul Congress Centre, Turkey. Malaysia Showcase was pleased to participate to this event (booth 1C-300) and presented 27 exhibitors all from Malaysian local companies. Malaysia Showcase is a platform to showcase and launch latest halal innovations, renewable energy and sustainable products to the OIC countries.
The Malaysia Showcase virtual platform is start to live since 18th November until 15th December 2021 comprises additional 17 virtual exhibitors. There were three major components — a virtual exhibition, business matching and The Tarik session as the knowledge hub. The ceremony was concluded with photo session and tour for the Malaysia Showcase Pavilion.
