At the World Secure Food Chain conference 2-4 December 2009, in Hong
Kong, Al Islami Foods
said that meat obtained from non-stunned animals is healthier and has a
longer shelf life.

And non-Halal and stunned meat is highly questionable, quoting a
research conducted by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research on
the same subject.

this figure, kebab meat accounts for €2.8 billion of the total. The
market continues to show good growth and offers potential for Irish

does not take place in Germany due to legal constraints, German Halal
certifying bodies such as Halal Control and m-haditec do not certify

government will establish 400 community model farms at an estimated
