IFANCA Pakistan is organizing a series of conferences titled: International Conference on Halal Foods, Pharmaceuticals, and Cosmetics. These conferences have been planned with one each in Faisalabad, Karachi, and Lahore. The theme of the conference is:

The halal industry is expanding with global halal spending expected to reach $3.9 trillion in 2019 from 2013 spending of $2.5 trillion. The halal food and lifestyle market is currently $2 trillion, with food at $1.3 trillion, pharmaceuticals at $72 billion, cosmetics at $46 billion, and travel, media, recreation, and fashion at $591 billion. WHY PAKISTAN & HALAL: Pakistan is an agricultural economy that is well positioned to take its share in the global halal marketplace. The passing of the halal law positions Pakistan among the leaders on the supply side of halal products.
