Saudi Arabia will hold it first Halal Food Control and Exhibition for the first time in Riyadh. This international-scale event will held in 12-15 February 2012. A number of researchers as well as institutions associated with halal certification from all over the world are expected to join. Including organisations and enterprises that produce halal products.
Issues to be discussed at the conference, will relate to vital problems in areas like slaughtering methods, terms and conditions for ensuring quality and consistency of food products for export, automated machine slaughtering of animals, standardization of halal certification, etc. One of the desired outcomes of the event with be the creation of halal standards for international reference.
In addition, the participants can also exchange information between countries about the supervision and controls on halal food in their country. Including legislative regulations in different countries around the world, and in Islamic Nations in particular.
This event is open to companies that produce dairy and non dairy, red meat, halal food franchises, bread, chocolate, biscuits, beverages, organic produce, supermarkets, and much more. As for the targeted visitors, these include: importers, exporters, manufacturers, hotels, restaurants, the Ministries of industry and trade all over the world, as well as halal certification agencies.
This special Conference is being held for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a religious responsibility in support of the Government’s role in serving Islam and the Muslims around the world.
